OUR COMMUNITY
Rancho Mirage Women's Health Center is dedicated to playing a proactive and vital role in the Coachella Valley community. Drs. Brossfield and Lindley host and participate in lectures and seminars throughout the year, educating groups about the many health issues that affect women, particularly during key life stages. Featured topics include discussions on women's issues, such as hormones, sexuality, relationship issues, nutrition and wellness, transition into puberty, American Heart Association recommendations for women, and dispelling myths promoted in the media relating to women's health.
Every spring, the Center hosts Wonder of Women (WoW) a festive one-day event designed to uplift and empower women. All proceeds from this outstanding event, which includes a luncheon and silent/live auction, benefit Safehouse of the Desert (www.operationsafehouse.org), a private nonprofit organization dedicated to the safety and well-being of children in crisis.
